The Kia Soluto has made its mark in the Vietnamese market as a B-segment car since its debut in September 2019. With a starting price of only 639 million VND, it competes fiercely with formidable rivals such as the Toyota Vios, Hyundai Accent, and Honda City. In fact, the Kia Soluto is even more affordable than some A-segment sedans like the Honda Brio or Vinfast Fadil.
The 2024 facelift of the Kia Soluto brings slight upgrades in terms of equipment and a fresh new logo, giving it a more youthful and modern appearance, while maintaining the same price.
Currently, THACO continues to assemble the Kia Soluto 2024 domestically at their factory in Chu Lai, Quang Nam, and offers it in 4 different versions. The specific prices and promotions for each version are as follows:

- Soluto AT Premium: 707 million VND
- Soluto AT Luxury: 727 million VND
Exterior Design of the Kia Soluto 2024
Designed by renowned German designer Peter Schreyer, the Kia Soluto 2024 boasts a youthful and attractive exterior, similar to its sibling, the Cerato. With overall dimensions of 4,300 x 1,700 x 1,460 (mm) (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,570mm, the Soluto's size may be slightly smaller than its competitors. However, thanks to its compact size and ground clearance of 150mm, which surpasses the Toyota Vios (133mm) and Honda City (134mm), the Soluto is easy to maneuver in urban traffic.
Front Design
The front of the Kia Soluto 2024 features a distinctive and robust grille, with a chrome border that exudes a sense of strength. The interior of the grille is adorned with a black cross-hatch pattern, creating a modern look. The front headlights are integrated with the grille, and all versions of the Kia Soluto only come with standard halogen bulbs, without the option of projector or LED headlights.
Side Design
Looking at the side profile of the Kia Soluto 2024, while the front end has an impressive design, the rest of the car appears rather plain, lacking distinctive lines. The window frames are entirely black. The side mirrors are body-colored and have power-adjustment and turn signal functions, with power-folding available only on the AT Luxury version. The door handles on the Soluto 2024 are chrome-plated, except for the MT version, which retains the body color. Unfortunately, there is no button for keyless entry, a feature that some A-segment cars like the Kia Morning already have.
Rear Design
Compared to the bold front design, the rear of the Kia Soluto 2024 takes on a more subtle approach with rounded lines and a prominent new logo. The overall appearance of the rear is simple, without many decorative details, except for the addition of a spoiler on the trunk lid, providing a sporty feel.
The rear taillights are solid blocks that embrace the two corners of the car, instead of being focused on the trunk lid like the Kia K3 or Kia K5. Like the front lights, all the taillights on the Soluto use regular halogen bulbs. The exhaust pipe is hidden under the rear bumper, contributing to a more elegant and sophisticated look for the Soluto.

Interior Design of the Kia Soluto 2024
Thanks to its long wheelbase of 2,570mm, the Kia Soluto 2024 offers a spacious and airy interior. The simplified interior design focuses on practicality, with hard plastic materials in the main tone of black. Additionally, the headliner and seats are of a lighter tone, providing a sense of spaciousness. Classic round air vents with shiny chrome edges are symmetrically arranged on both sides. The central air vents are integrated into the metal frame connected to the central screen, creating a compact and balanced look for the dashboard.
The center console of the B-segment sedan continues to use a familiar rotary knob design from the previous versions. The power window controls are located just below the rotary controls, rather deep inside, which may obstruct visibility, especially at night.
The steering wheel of the Kia Soluto 2024 features a 3-spoke design with a silver finish and leather wrapping, incorporating convenient control buttons. However, the Soluto MT variant still retains a non-leather steering wheel without any function buttons. In addition, the 2024 Soluto has upgraded features such as Cruise Control, keyless entry, and push-button start. Unfortunately, these features are only available on the top-tier Luxury version. Other features such as auto-dimming rearview mirrors or auto-hold brakes are not present in this B-segment sedan.
The instrument cluster behind the steering wheel is designed in an analog style, accompanied by a 2.8-inch multi-information display, providing a stable interface. The Soluto 2024 offers decent visibility, thanks to its slim A-pillars. However, the placement of the side mirrors on the A-pillars reduces the driver's view when looking at the side and rear of the car.

Convenience, Technology, and Entertainment Features on the Kia Soluto 2024
Experts have praised the entertainment system in the Kia Soluto 2024 for its stability. All versions, except the base MT variant, are equipped with a standard 7-inch touchscreen with high sensitivity and sharp display. The audio system consists of 6 speakers, with hands-free calling and support for connecting to GPS, AUX, and USB.
In addition, the Kia Soluto is the first model in Vietnam to integrate KIA LINK, marking a step forward in the application of digital technology to optimize the driving experience and service management for users. The Soluto's air conditioning controls are of the traditional rotary knob design found in older car models. None of the 4 versions have rear air vents. However, key features such as power windows, interior lights, and start/stop button, as well as keyless entry (AT Luxury version), are still included.
Seats in the Kia Soluto 2024
The seats in the Kia Soluto 2024 are made of synthetic leather, except for the Soluto MT version, which still uses fabric seats. If you choose the MT version, you may consider upgrading to leather seats, as fabric materials tend to collect dirt and are harder to clean. Additionally, the Luxury version features two-tone seat upholstery, adding a touch of luxury and visual appeal.
The front seats of the Kia Soluto 2024 are not overly contoured but come with thick cushioning, suitable for those who prefer a spacious feel. Users can also slide the seats back to create more legroom, ensuring maximum comfort. The seat adjustment mechanism is entirely rotary, and the driver's seat has an independent armrest, which is quite slim and positioned quite high. Unfortunately, there is no storage compartment at this position, unlike some other A-segment cars.
In terms of the rear seats, the Soluto 2024 is equipped with adjustable headrests and adjustable height instead of fixed headrests as before. The backrests can also be adjusted to provide the ideal incline, along with sufficient legroom. Additionally, the center armrest now features 2 cup holders, providing convenience. Overall, the rear seats of the Soluto 2024 comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 1 child, rather than 3 adults, especially on long journeys.
The Kia Soluto 2024 offers superior trunk space in its segment, with a capacity of up to 475 liters, thanks to its high trunk lid design. A small test showed that the B-segment sedan's trunk can easily accommodate a golf bag. It is also equipped with a light, making it convenient for organizing and arranging luggage.

Driving Experience and Safety on the Kia Soluto 2024
All versions of the Kia Soluto 2024 are equipped with a dual CVVT 1.4L gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 94 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 132 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine can be combined with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant, all with front-wheel drive.
Although the Soluto is not the most powerful car in its segment, its engine provides sufficient power for daily commuting and occasional road trips. The automatic transmission version offers smooth gear shifts and responsive acceleration, making it a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
